Little Crickets Christmas Party

As part of our community here at Larchfield, we have the great pleasure that a small group of children from Little Crickets Pre-school attend Larchfield, every other week on a Friday during term time. We thought we would celebrate this by having a joint party morning for our residents and the children who attend from the nursery. We had great entertainment which was provided by Cat’s Pyjama’s Entertainment. The children were dancing, the residents were laughing and smiling, we all had a lovely time. We then had a lovely game of pass the parcel. The present was provided by Diane from Little Cricket’s. The children and the residents and a great time , all the children got a book and Anne our lucky resident won a home made cushion which she was very happy with. Antoinette our cook made the children a lovely buffet lunch , sandwiches that were shaped by Christmas Trees and cucumber slices that looked like stars, just a few of the goodies available. Before the children departed they sang a few of their favorite nursery rhymes and Jingle bells.
